About
Scott Cortopassi
How He Started
Scott Cortopassi attended Southern Illinois University and in 1984, graduated with a degree in dental laboratory technology. He immediately began his career with Dental Arts Laboratory, an industry leader. Working at Dental Arts Laboratory helped Scott expand his techniques and learn more about account sales and case management.
After working at Dental Arts Laboratory, he teamed up with a family member in the southern suburbs of Chicago and opened a crown and bridge laboratory within a denture clinic. This is where his passion for denture fabrication began.
Moving Up
Having a dentist and laboratory within one facility ensures that patient needs can be addressed in a timely fashion, which is why Scott decided to open Denture Smart Denture Service.
Before opening our denture clinic, he spent time working in denture fabrication at two Chicago suburban laboratories, and then opened a second laboratory in Bartlett, IL.
After selling his laboratory and relocating to Onalaska, WI, in 1999. Still in pursuit of his dream of owning his own denture clinic, he became employed at a local lab in La Crosse, WI. Five years later, he opened Lakeview Dental Service.
Today
In January 2015, Scott combined Lakeview Dental Service and Denture Smart Denture Service. Working in the dental laboratory industry with so many skilled dentists and technicians over many years allowed Scott to develop techniques that enhance how dentures are delivered
About
Dr. Steven Johnston
A native to the Coulee region, Dr. Stephen Johnston graduated from Onalaska High School in 1988, and then attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. After graduating, he continued his education at the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry, in 1995.
Dr. Johnston has practiced as a general dentist for over 20 years, but is now pleased to narrow his scope of practice down to working with people seeking complete dentures. In collaboration with Scott, he is confident that they can deliver great services to their patients.
Dr. Johnston currently resides in Onalaska, WI, with his wife and son. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time on his farm. Johnston is also proud to continue his service in the U.S. Army Reserve, which he has done for the past 15 years.
